John Carroll

Interim Regional School Coordinator Manager

John Carroll, has nearly 40 years' experience in theeducation system in various parts of Scotland. He is aformer Head Teacher at St Paul's RC Academy in Dundee where the school was closely involved in piloting DYW activities in the City. John was Quality Improvement Officer with Aberdeen City Council before joining DYW Perth and Kinross as Manager.Under his leadership at St Paul's RC Academy in Dundee, John was instrumental in driving forward several programmes to improve literacy and numeracy, raising aspirations among students and supporting young people to achieve in spite of their challenging backgrounds. John was chair of the national DYW Equalities workstream. John has also worked closely in his previous roles with a range of business partners and employers to deliver initiatives which helped increase understanding of local employment opportunities, improved the relevance of the curriculum and widened employment opportunities for pupils. Contact John by clicking below

John Robertson

Employer Liaison Officer

Prior to joining the DYW Tay Cities team John worked for 5 years in the same Employer Engagement role with the DYW Perth & Kinross Team.John's 12 years of Business Development in the education sector, preceded by 18 years of Operations Management with National Training Providers before working with DYWPK has given him a deep understanding of the interaction between Employers and the Education and Training sector. Emma Harrison

Employer Liaison Officer

Emma joined the DYW Tay Cities team in May 2022 as one of our Employer Liaison Officers. She started her career in the finance sector having completed a Graduate Programme with Virgin Money in Glasgow. She has recently moved to the area and was working in the hospitality sector running a local café. She developed a passion for working with young people and ensuring that they are supportedto develop their careers.Outside of work she stays in Montrose with her partner David and their dog Hazel. Morgan McLeod

Employer Liaison Officer

Morgan joined DYW Tay Cities in May 2022 as one of our Employer Liaison Officers with DYW Tay Cities. Prior to joining our team, she has previously worked with DYW on a local level as a Schools Coordinator at Kinross High School. She is passionate about engaging with employers to ensure that young people can navigate the working world successfully. Rachel Jackson

Digital Administrator

Rachel is the Digital Administrator for the DYW TayCities team. Her background is in communications and community work, with her degree being in Media, Culture & Society. She is enthusiastic about promoting opportunities which can improve young people's futures and wellbeing. Zeinab Bakir

Business Administrator Graduate Apprentice

Zeinab is 19 years old and joined DYW Tay cities in May 2022 to progress her business venture. Her aim is to use her experience of business working in real estate and completion of her first year in university to gain a variety of hands-on skills and knowledge to use this opportunity as her steppingstone. DYW highly appealed to Zeinab as the company offers many strategic ways to enhance her work experience such as taking on projects as well as networking with many other businesses. Lucy Jobson

Business Administrator Graduate Apprentice

Lucy joined the Chamber team in May 2022. Lucy isbeginning a Graduate Apprentice in BusinessManagement at the Dundee and Angus Chamber ofCommerce. She will be part of the DYW Tay Cities team helping to provide opportunities for both employers and young people. Before starting this, Lucy was in fifth year at high school, she enjoyed her business lessons through the business Foundation Apprenticeship at college twice a week, this encouraged Lucy to take on this challenge atsixteen. Business Administrator Modern Apprentice

Natalia is 22 Years old and joined the DYW Team in June 2022. She started working at the Dundee and Angus Chamber of Commerce in 2021 and is now a Modern Apprentice Business Administrator. As a part of the DYW Team, she is passionate about engaging with employers and young people. She enjoys taking on projects and networking with other businesses to enhance her work.
